DJ AKi moved to New York in 1995.
In 1996, he began to DJ Drum'n Bass when he started to work for a newly opened Drum'n Bass record store called "Breakbeat Science". In 1998, he became the resident DJ of "Science Lab" at New York's very popular club, TWILO. At "Planet V", big names such as Goldie and J.J.Frost also appeared with him. In the same year as the start up of Dublab Productions, he started to concentrate on making his move into Japan. Usual Suspects,Bad Company, and others have also appeared with him in 1999.
Grasping the next evolving from of the Drum'n Bass style,his originality attracts much attention. He moved back to Japan in 2000, and is presently working on
new tracks at his Dublab Studio.
